How To Root Lenovo A6000
Requirements:-
- Charge your Lenovo A6000 70% battery or more.It will prevent unexpected device shutdown (due to battery drain).
- Install the correct USB drivers for your device. A6000 comes with custom PC Suite software, installing which will also install the required drivers.
- Enable USB Debugging mode by going to Settings>>Developer Options.
- Backup your A6000 smartphone.(you may lose your data)
- Download the required ADB and Fastboot driver files from HERE.
- Download the lenovo-a6000-root+recovery from HERE.
How To:-
Steps:- For Root
1.Extract and copy the downloaded Custom root + Recovery ZIP file in the SD Card of your A6000 smartphone.
2.Switch off your device and then restart it in recovery mode after 10 seconds by pressing and holding the Power and volume down buttons together.(Once the Lenovo logo appears, release the buttons)
3.Locate the Zip from External storage and browse to the location; you have downloaded the Root-SuperSU-v2.37.zip.
4.Once finished, navigate to 'Go back' menu and select reboot system to reboot the phone.
Steps:- For Recovery
1.Download mobile uncle tool from Google Play Store.
2.Select update recovery.
3.Select the 1st recovery.img file showing there.
4.It will ask for Reboot.
5.REBOOT your device.
You have successfully Rooted and installed custom recovery on your LENOVO A6000.
