How to revert back to Kitkat from Lollipop on Micromax Unite 2
Requirements:
1) A Micromax Unite 2 running Android 5.0 Lollipop.2) A Computer running Windows on it and a USB cable.
3) You need to download the following goodies before proceeding ahead:
~ SP Flashing Tools
~USB Drivers for MTK devices only if not installed:
~Stock ROM:
Note: This ROM works on both 8GB and 4GB variant and if in case it doesn’t work you can try finding the ROM from this site (needrom.com)Also this process will erase all the data from your phone so make sure to take backup.And Make Sure, your device has at least 75% + Battery and enable USB debugging from Developer Options.
STEPS :-
1) Download and install the USB Drivers if they are not already installed.2) Download and extract both SP Tools and the Stock ROM on your computer.
3) Open SP Tools and run the program as administrator by right clicking and choosing it from the menu.
4) Click on Scatter loading option and SP Tools will ask to choose the scatter file from your computer. Navigate to where you extracted the Stock ROM and choose the scatter file from the Stock ROM folder.
5) Now select firmware-upgrade from the drop-down menu and turn off your phone and remove its battery and connect it to the computer via USB cable.
6) Now click on the download button and SP Tools will recognize your phone and the process of installation will start. If it doesn’t detect that means drivers are not properly installed on your computer.
7) After the process completes, a green ring will appear which means you have successfully installed KitKat on your device. Now you can reboot the device and enjoy using KitKat.
